Our Story

TideBound was born from a lifelong love for the coast and the lifestyle that comes with it.

I grew up in South Carolina, but not near the coast. Even then, I always knew I wanted to end up closer to the water someday. After finishing school, I made the move to Charleston, and that’s where my passion for fishing, boating, and coastal life really took off.

The more time I spent on the water and exploring the South Carolina coast, the more I wanted to create something that reflected that lifestyle and gave me a way to share that passion with others.

That idea became TideBound.

TideBound is built around the feeling of being connected to the water — early mornings fishing, long days on the boat, weekends at the beach, and all the simple moments that make life along the coast special. Every piece we create is inspired by that lifestyle and designed for people who feel that same pull toward the coast.

What started as a passion project has grown into a community of people who love the water just as much as I do, and seeing TideBound worn by people all over has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

We're still just getting started, and I’m excited to see where the tide takes us next.
